Dear Mr. President,
Hello. How are you? Are you busy? I have something I want to tell you. My name is Charlie (Last Name) and I am 8 years old. I was born on Election Day, November 7, 2000. That was one year before the Terrorist Attacks. I go to a public school in (City), CA.
I was born with Primary Immunodeficiency, that is when you don’t have enough cells in your body to protect me from germs. I have to take a special medicine called Gammagard Liquid that comes from human plasma that is donated by people, from both the Red Cross and Baxter. I have a sister and brother that have the same disease as I do. I do my medicine Sub-q. Sub-q is a type of needle that goes in the leg and the belly. I do my medicine once every week, with three needles. I like this because I don’t have to miss school to get my medicine, and it makes me feel better.
I want you to please make sure that kids that have primary immunodeficiency get to do their daily activities all around America. You can ask Doctors and Nurses to help kids, by giving them the medicine that they need. Also you can tell people to donate plasma so kids like me can do lots of things that others kids can do.
Love,
Charlie K. (last name)

I just love this kid; I think he has an old soul and is so very smart. He is one of those kids that gives me great hope for the future.
I totally agree with Kim-d. He is an old (beautiful) soul. It makes me know that there is hope for all of us!
Great letter Doodle! You make me very proud. I love you!
