Today, after spending an hour looking through a book of presidents and their party affiliations Charlie announced that he's a democrat. When I asked him why, he replied...."Well, because I like to solve other people's problems."
It took everything I had not to laugh outloud.
We proceeded to ask Tommy what he is and before he could answer, Charlie piped in.... " he's a Republican....he likes to shoot things."
Ever the peacemaker, and people pleaser, Kate announced she is both... because she can't stand to choose sides.
Yes, we should all know ourselves so well.

If only it were that simple. Life would be so much easier. I think Hallie has a good point as well. I hate that I have to claim a party to vote in the Primary but I can vote any way I want in the general. WTF.
HA! I love this. Bailey also says he's a Democrat because he "likes to help people".
I don't know *where* he got that idea. :)
Heck - at their age I didn't have an opinion. In fact the only thing I knew by the time I was 8 was who the President was - the only thing I knew about a party was that I hadn't been invited!!!!!!!!!!!
